The website is not directly affiliated with Northern Illinois University, but was created by Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU) at NIU to serve as a memorial to the tragedy of February 14th, 2008. We who are with CRU stand united with the rest of our Huskie family.

Over the last several days, we have mourned. We have lost friends and loved ones. This website is a memorial to Cathy, Dan, Gayle, Julianna, and Ryanne, and a way to honor them.
But we have also come together. And from sources as various as our fight song, our politicians, our faculty, and our spiritual guides, we have heard a cry: “Forward, Together Forward NIU!” This website is a tribute to the NIU student community, and to their spirit which lives on to honor our fallen friends.
Several of the links on this page provide truth which we pray will help you find your way beyond the evil event which affected us all, and into a new hope through a journey of faith.
